Fall Nature Buddies 2021
Did you know that ladybugs hibernate? Join Alex and Hoot while we explore what animals are up to this fall to get ready for winter. During this 1.5 hour program children and parents will be led on an exploration in a park from the perspective of a new animal each week getting ready for winter. Children will also be provided with materials to craft up their own nature buddy to take home to inspire further play and exploration.
Register for my early fall series starting in September or my late fall series starting in October. Classes take place Wednesdays in parks in north Calgary and Thursdays in parks in south Calgary from 10:00-11:30 am.
Nature Buddies is designed with the 2-6 year old crowd in mind. An adult companion must attend (parented program). Each program stirs up my popular nature wonder recipe: a sprinkle of nature inspired activities, a scoop of family led nature walks and a dollop of free play.
